Marconi Centre Poldhu Cove
This is where Guglielmo Marconi made the big break through in getting a signal across the Atlantic ocean. At 1:30 im standing in the transmitter room where those 3 dots ( letter S in morse code ) was sent to Newfoundland in Canada. Notice the Edwardian tiles and concrete footings for the mast's still looking good even though being exposed to the harsh winds and salt air from the Atlantic. Whether you like radio or not this is a very interesting place to visit if your in the area and you never know you might learn something i know i did! Thanks again to the club GB2GM who use the centre for there club and man the centre for visitors.
