Thats just for starters: Warburton features two nos per page, then quarters that into four nos, then nine. The goofy creativity multiplies along with the refusals—Noah says Nyet wearing a Russian hat, O-nay as a pig, Negative as a robot, Hon-Ka-Zhi from a tepee, and even uses hieroglyphics and Morse code dots and dashes. The pastels of the watercolor-and-pencil art quickly explode into a colorful chaos that concludes with the entire cast of Noahs singing Nooooooooo in a chorus. Its a lot of fun and will feel familiar to any parent up against a childs tireless opposition, and kids (maybe) will recognize their own silly stubbornness. This video shows how to manipulate the Sideswiper, a very rare key. There is not much to say about Sideswiper: if you ever find one of these very rare keys, learning to use it will be amazingly difficult. Dit and Dashes are executed at need either on the left or on the right contact, while the wrist keeps moving in a left-right alternated fashion, never repeating the same contact for two consecutive times. As far as is known, only few operators on the planet still use the Sideswiper. In Italy, only 5 stations use it regularly: IT9FAL, I1QII, IK0XCB, IZ0DDD, IK0YGJ. Buying an original Sideswiper is almost impossible, I resolved this problem by asking Salvatore IK1OJM to make for me one of his masterpieces.

This is where Guglielmo Marconi made the big break through in getting a signal across the Atlantic ocean. At 1:30 im standing in the transmitter room where those 3 dots ( letter S in morse code ) was sent to Newfoundland in Canada. Notice the Edwardian tiles and concrete footings for the mast's still looking good even though being exposed to the harsh winds and salt air from the Atlantic. Whether you like radio or not this is a very interesting place to visit if your in the area and you never know you might learn something i know i did! Mac is totally cheating with its new ipod shuffle "the world's smallest" with autovoice. I'm a rabid Apple fan, but here's a review of that new ipod Shuffle Nano mini micro itunes thingy... it looks like a pair of fingernail clippers. Since my local store didn't stock them today (it launched yesterday), I had to base this thoughtful review on the apple website facts (But I haven't read any other reviews). This is CHEATING, Apple! Mac should focus on an enhanced appletv (and rebrand it) for better online-video surfing from the couch, and stop trying to make things smaller than Bill Gates and Steve Jobs' weiners. The new ipod shuffle is just moving a part (buttons) from the body to the headphones. That's convenient, but first, displacement doesn't count. Second, the headphones are now proprietary so a regular pair won't work, and you're sunk if you plug it into an amplifier via phono-to-patch cords. The "personal announcer" is a glorified Speak 'n Spell. It's also empty of music and doesn't even have an FM radio or tape player. "Language Secrets From a Linguistic Junkie" - Episode 1 Part 2 This is the second part of the first of my personal video posts. I thought to make it interesting, I've tried to choose several different languages to respond to (subtitled in English). What are some secrets to learning new languages? How do I get motivated to learn languages? I've chosen languages that I'm at different competency levels in - and as you can see, it shows! Some of them I hadn't used for a long time - just putting this clip together was great to get the linguistic juices flowing again in some of my dormant languages. I also used as a personal challenge for the first time in public Vietnamese. I put this post public to set a bar for myself - so hopefully in a few months time, my Vietnamese will be much more fluent than what you see in this clip. I'll keep you updated on my progress! This self contained key was an idea i had. Watching around youtube i wanted to make a home made one and noticed everyones was clever and all but wasnt "portable" With this one you can literally take it anyone, the bus, car, school, work. hell, if you made a home made case for it, that would be truly sad, but epic at the same time LOL soooo enjoy, i loved making it, and i use it each night for my morse code lessons. definatly a good piece of equipment

Here is a most curious device. The Omnigraph was designed as a teaching tool to help beginners learn Morse code and how to operate a telegraph station. It has a set of interchangeable metal discs which have teeth on them that trip an electrical contact on and off, producing the 'dots and dashes' of Morse code when connected to a speaker or sounder. About 5 years ago I was obsessed about the "Wild West" and part of my obsession was learning morse code. I haven't used in a while but since this morning was shitty and I had nothing else better to do, I dusted off my iambic key and created this. See if you can decode it, Keep in mind I haven done this in like 4 years so it might not make any sense, but it will be funny to see if I did it correctly for you guys to decode it. Enjoy!

All the songs are about amateur radio and the booklet which comes with the "Seek You" CD tells the whole story of contests, dx-peditions, antennas etc. The Ham Band has just finished their new song/video which describes the whole process of building a modern amateur radio station and at the same time enables the listener/viewer to learn Morse code - yes all the letters and numbers are in there! The video lasts about 20 minutes and there are 19 musicians playing in three different musical styles (French Musette, Viennese Waltz and German Oompah). The music changes key 24 times which means that this musical work may get into the Guinness Book of World Records! In Mnidcraft, I like to look at ways of creatively pushing the mind's boundaries. I was in a semi-dream state about a month ago when this concept came to me. I woke up that next morning and jotted the words down. Since then I've tweaked them a little (through subsequent alpha moments^_^). The music is also pretty faithful to my dream. This clip is designed to be watched many times. I've embedded many things in there. For the first few times, just get into the rhythm and copy the one-handed sign alphabet with me. At the same time, you'll be seeing the pictures out of the corner of your eye. It's ok to peek at other things going on on the screen. As you get the words linked into the pictures - which are linked into the letters - which are linked into the rhythm, try to let it all become a part of you. If possible, try NOT to memorise the textual 'dot dash' renderings of the morse code. Just sing the words to the rhythm and you'll have the Morse-code alphabet already. I've thrown some Morse into my solos - both dispersed into the main body of the song and also at the end... test yourself (well actually the answer is right there glaring at you!) see if you can work it out :) I recommend downloading this clip to your ipod and setting it on repeat and listen to it over and over as you're walking around town. You don't have to look at the video the whole time. Just get the rhythms.
